The Alpaca Pavilion at Sunbelt Expo
October 14-16 2008
Where else can you meet over 200,000 potential customers? Now in its 10th year, the SeAA Alpaca Pavilion in Moutrie, GA has provided SeAA members the opportunity to promote their farms and alpacas. The permanent pavilion now has permanent pens, electricity, water, and now circulating fans overhead. Space is limited to two pens per farm member, 4 alpacas per pen.
The pen fee is non-refundable, but we will attempt to resell the pen for you if you cannot attend. There are 16 pens available with ample walkways in front and back of each pen. Volunteers who do not need pen space can sign up now to get parking passes and exhibitor badges. You must be a 2008 SeAA member to participate.
The Alpaca Pavilion
With easy access from Gate #4 at the Sunbelt Expo, the alpaca pavilion is located in the livestock area in Section F-8. On Monday, October 13th, set up goes on all day, and you can pull in trailers right next to the Pavilion to unload.
The 10' x 16' pens have dirt floors with straw bedding available for no extra fees. The Expo is open Tuesday-Thursday to the public. No additional drive ins are allowed after Monday.
The Store, Demos, And Seminars
The back third of the Pavilion is set aside for the SeAA store, display, demos, and seminars throughout Expo. Bring your farm store wares to offer for sale, and reap the benefits! Average sales at the Store have been in excess of $5000.
Members are charged a nominal 10% commission on the sales. Members must have double price tags with the farm identified on all items brought to the store for sale. The SeAA display is ongoing through the three days where your farm business cards are available to the public. Volunteers are needed and welcomed to work in the store, do demonstrations, and provide seminars.
