Bedford Falls Alpacas

171 Pine Trail • Warne, NC 28909
Web site: http://www.bfaf.com

Doug and I met and fell in love with alpacas in 1997. Even after 12 years we still love and appreciate their uniqueness. After 50+ births here each one is as exciting as the very first one. Every alpaca has its own personality; curious, playful, friendly is the rule. Our grand dam, Manzana, is a bit aloof but she'll take a carrot from you nice enough. Our best herdsire, Crockett, is a Peruvian rose grey with 7 Championships and 13 Blue ribbons three form the AOBA Nationals including the World Fleece Show! He will be happy to strut his stuff for you. He is such a handsome fellow and great fleece! His first 22 crias have arrived! His offspring that we have here are all beautifully straight with excellent fiber of course. Three are Champions already!

Our females come with a re-breeding to any of our herdsires.

We have 25 alpacas on the farm now for you to visit, 6 males and 19 females. There are 13 crias due between April 1st and July 9th. Schedule your vist to see these wonderful babies romping in the pastures! I enjoy every day with them!

All of our alpacas are huacayas and all have been in the show rings if old enough. Shows are so much fun and a good way to see that our nutrition and breeding program is working well. Our farm is BVDV tested negative.

We have a wonderful cabin down by the creek and the girl's pastures if you can come for a visit, just give us a call. We offer a week at the cabin with the sale of an alpaca so you can learn their routine and health care. I can talk about alpacas forever! We adhere to Dr. Evans recommendations and use his feed. Another expert we have learned from is Dr. Toni Cotton; her clinics on neo-natal care, behavior testing and breeding are very informative. One of our client gifts is Marty McGee Bennett's book, Camelid Dynamics, invaluable to alpaca and llama owners!

Our favorite colors are the true blacks, grays and the rose grays but we have some beautiful fawns and browns as well. Packages are available and financing to fit your plan. Please visit our web site www.bfaf.com

We are located two hours north of Atlanta, two hours west of Asheville too. Two hours east of Chattanooga, out where the skies are blue. Two hours south of Knoxville, if you are traveling by car. Far enough from the city lights so you can see the stars.

Come and visit when you can and thank-you for your interest in our beautiful alpacas.
